At the art show “Carla and Carlos, two visions, one technique” two diverse artists are united by one technique, the watercolor.
Carla uses the watercolor in an abstract way, very often her elegant brushstrokes remind us of silent landscapes, the colors are soft, almost monochromatic and convey calm and tranquility.
Carlos, on the other side, covers several topics: human figures, still life, landscapes and abstracts. In his works it’s possible to sense the life of a given personage or a certain object. Often his works communicate stories and thoughts through bright colors, full of emotions, contrasts of light and transparencies that are also strength, lightness and balance.
