Tangram – via Benedetto Bonfigli 12, Perugia
From 18 September to 3 October 2015
Carlos Giordano personal exhibition
An elegant, pleasant man with a disarming smile came to the gallery and brought me several pastel paintings: beautiful turbans, sometimes with no faces, but designed, or rather colored in an outstanding way.
The colors of Giordano’s turbans bring to mind the beautiful things of life: blue, like the summer skies, sunset orange and passion-red. It is not important to see the faces: it is not because the drawings are beautiful without them and speak for themselves. They come from India, a country that Giordano has loved deeply and of which he retains a clear memory, present in all his paintings.
