Roma
From 9 to 19 May 2012
Personal exhibition by Carlos Giordano
The Still life art was born when the objects of domestic life occupied the pictographic space. The paintings of Carlos with their striking details and atmospheric lights, as well as being a delight for the eyes express an additional level of meaning, such as reflections on the transience of life seen on the fruit that begins to rot.
Carlos’s paintings suggest rest but also movement as seen in a series of diagonals compositions.
Also the contrast of bright – dull colors adds dynamism to the works with an extraordinary divergence of warm colors combined with soft hues.
